If You Love the Critters of Everdell Try…

Meadow

My current favorite critter/nature game! Meadow is an absolute delight and I can’t say enough good things about it.

Flamecraft

You’ve enjoyed woodland critters, so how about you try dragons! Like Everdell, Flamecraft is also a worker placement game but is slightly easier making it a good fit for families with kids ages 8+ who are excited to play.

Wingspan

If you haven’t given Wingspan a try yet, it’s a great fit for Everdell fans! The watercolor bird illustrations are beautiful and the engine building game satisfying.

Cascadia

We love this tile placement game! It has a wonderful puzzle feel to it and no matter how the scores turn out, looking at the terrain and animal habitats you created is always enjoyable.

If You Love the Nature Theme of Everdell Try…

Living Forest

Become nature spirits and try to save the forest. I love that players can choose between multiple paths to victory and each has the chance of success.

Gartenbau

I’m a sucker for a flower themed game! Gartenbau has a beautiful vintage look to it and an excellent use of a rondel for tile selection and tough choices!

Earth

A stunner of a game! Earth has both crunchy strategy and cozy aesthetics.

Parks

Travel to the National Parks from the comfort of your living room. I love that you’re trying to collect memories in the game — I’m always inspired to get out and explore after a game of Parks!

If You Loved the Medium Weight Strategy Challenge Try…

Viticulture

Playing a game of Viticulture feels like accepting a warm hug. One of my very favorite worker placement strategy games.

Lords of Waterdeep

For more worker placement goodness, Lords of Waterdeep delivers! Much like Everdell, each game I think I’ll never be able to get the resources I need to build the cards I want with the limited number of workers and spaces available, but then somehow by the end of the game, I’ve got resources galore and am taking turn after turn!

It’s a Wonderful World

Engine building at its finest! I love how tight the game plays and how no matter how well you’ve done in the past, generating the resources you need to develop your Empire is always a challenge!

Furnace

If you’ve been wanting to get into Euro games, Furnace is a good step into that world. This is a medium/light strategy game and while the theme may not pop like Everdell’s, the game play is really interesting!

Lost Ruins of Arnak

Put on your Indiana Jones hat and get ready to explore the dangerous island! This game combines two of my favorite things: deck building and worker placement.

Expand Your Everdell World!

Everdell Expansions

There is a bunch more to explore in the world of Everdell for those not ready to leave! Spirecrest, Pearlbrook, Bellfaire, Mistwood, and Newleaf all add new elements and challenges to the game. Or you can collect ALL of the Everdell expansions including the collectors edition base game in the Everdell Complete Collection.

My Lil’ Everdell

This is a streamlined version of Everdell designed for younger players. We feel the best starting age for this game is 8 and up. I like to think of it as an express version of Everdell. Great for adults too.

Farshore

Farshore is a brand new standalone game in the world of Everdell. It has similar gameplay to Everdell with some both some major and minor changes and lots of new elements and cards. You can follow our thoughts about Farshore on our Instagram! Farshore is available for preorders and releases later this fall.
