I look forward to this craft every year, not just because the kids love it, but because it’s such a great reminder to enjoy this season of parenting. I no longer worry about decorating the tree or keeping it looking perfect. I let my kids decorate it all Advent long and it turns out better than any styled tree could.

The best part about these ornaments is you can paint them, use markers, crayons, colored pencils, decoupage...the possibilities are endless. They can be as simple or as involved as you’d like. Put the supplies in a basket for the kids to use all month long and let it become a fun tradition.
