Board Games for Easter Baskets
Board Games make excellent non-candy treats to fill Easter baskets! I’m sharing my curated selections to help you find that perfect game to make Easter Sunday even more special together.
Board Games for Easter Baskets
1. First Orchard
This is the toddler game we’ve had the longest and still to this day it is the most played. First Orchard is great to practice learning colors, taking turns, and even for free play! I especially love the quality wooden pieces that are perfect for little hands to grasp and will last for years!
2. Cinco Linko
One of our favorite outdoor games! We’ve played this on picnics, at the beach, and by the pool! I love the attached carabiner so I can clip this onto my purse and head out the door!
3. Take 5 (or 6 nimmt)
One of the card games we think everyone should own makes an excellent gift for an Easter Basket!
4. The Bears and the Bees
This game just sings “spring!” The Bears and the Bees is one of those games I’m always up for playing! We love all Grandpa Beck’s Games, so be sure to check out Cover Your Assets, Skull King, Gnoming A Round, and Nuts About Mutts for even more ideas!
5. Spot it!
Spot It! is another game that comes with us everywhere. This is a go-to for restaurants and car trips. If you’re planning any Easter trips to visit family, make sure to pack this (or any of it’s many themed versions,) for the car ride!
6. GoPop
Are your kids obsessed with pop-its? Ours can’t get enough of them and they love playing with them as both a sensory toy and a game. The Tie-Dye and UV color changing GoPops are their favorites! (They also make excellent baby teethers!)
7. Carrot Sorting Game
For your littlest Easter bunnies! I love this sorting work for our 12-24 month kids. This is an excellent educational toy that helps develop critical thinking and problem solving skills.
8. The Key
If you have children that love to solve mysteries, the logical deduction game The Key is a real winner! Lucky Llama Land is our favorite in the series, which you can read our full thoughts on in our review post.
9. Story Cubes
Easter is one of my favorite times to gift a new set of Story Cubes! We use these all the time in school and for fun while out and about. There are so many sets to choose from, like Harry Potter, Star Wars, or Batman, that you can find one perfect for your kids’ interests!
10. Nibble Munch Crunch
This makes an excellent first game for those looking to expand their youngest gaming library. Its animal theme is a hit with kids and it provides a variety of ways to play so it can grow with your child.
11. Snip Snap
Fast dice rolling and matching! Snip Snap is great for any age and provides a fun speed processing challenge for players.
12. Roll and Play
Roll and Play is my favorite pick for when you have a toddler that thrives being active. I love watching my little kids follow instructions and focus on the game while running around the house burning off energy.
13. Molkky
For the past year Molkky has been our family yard game of choice! This is a great game to pull out at a bbq or family cookout and makes the perfect Easter gift for a teen!
14. Dragomino
What’s better on Easter than a game about (dragon) eggs! If you have a 5-7 year old, this is a collection must have in my book.
15. Animal Upon Animal Jr.
I love this adorable rendition of the family game for the littlest players. The pieces are perfectly sized for little hands, high quality to last for years, and the game has 3 modes of play to provide the perfect amount of challenge to meet kids where they are developmentally.
16. Magnetic Puzzle Game
I love these puzzle games for kids who need ways to work on extending their focus and attention spans and who may also not be quite ready for all the components found in games. These provide great work for kids to develop their hand muscles, work on counting, and dexterity as they must maintain contact with the magnets.
