Advent Calendars are such a fun way to create family traditions and bring a little extra magic to the season. Some years I’m all on top of making my own Advent Calendar full of ideas and fun things to do. Other years I’m needing a helping hand to bring that magic and that’s okay! There are a ton of cute Advent Calendars to do together as a family, including some themed around our favorite games!
I’ve rounded up some of the cutest here to help you out if you, like me, are looking for some ready to go Advent Calendar magic this season!
Advent Calendar Games and More Ideas!

This is what our family is doing! My EXIT calendar just arrived on our doorstep and I can’t wait to work through it as a family again this year!
This is both an EXIT game and a 24 part adventure story! Each day you’ll open one of the calendar doors and solve the mystery with-in that will lead you to the next door!
You can select any of the advent calendars to play through this year!
The Mystery of the Ice Cave
The Hunt for the Golden Book
The Silent Storm (This is what we’re doing!)
We also filmed a play through of The Hunt for the Golden Book if you’d like to see what you’ll experience!
.
Like the EXIT calendars, Escape is also a 24 part Escape game and adventure story that works like an escape room. Each days puzzle leads you to the next one and slowly reveals the mystery of the sunken submarine.
.
This adorable Advent Calendar game is designed for your younger kids to enjoy! Each day they’ll unlock a new wooden figure and read the daily story or game from the booklet. The box works as a backdrop for play and will be your game board for the mini games you’ll unlock along the way. We love how it combines the quality wooden components HABA is known for with a story and game element perfect for young kids.

I can’t get over how beautiful the art is in this puzzle. The illustrations are so charming. Comes with twelve 80 piece puzzles which are perfect for a quick little puzzle each evening as you countdown to Christmas. Could enjoy again and again each year.
.
I am utterly charmed by this puzzle calendar! 24 mini puzzles that when placed together for one beautiful holiday scene! Such a cute tradition to start!
.
We got this for the kids last year and it was the hit of the season! Our kids all love mini toys and getting to open a new one each day of their favorite characters was so fun. The toys are nice quality and they’ve played with them every. single. day. since. 100% worth it!
.
There are a bunch of Lego calendar options for whatever theme excites you! I’m personally partial to this adorable Lego City one, new for 2023, with all Christmas themed characters. But if you ask my kids which one they’re most excited about it would be Harry Potter!
.
This is one I found while researching and think its just darling! Playmobile is a favorite toy brand for us and adding to the Christmas scene daily is such a fun thing for kids to do. Mine played so well together with their advent calendars each day last year and it was Christmas magic.
.
Burts Bees is the only lip balm for me and I can never have enough during the dry winter season. This is such a fun and cute gift for any lib balm lover, especially if they’re lipstick crazy like my girls! The holiday flavors are so fun!
.
I love this one! The only thing I wanted to do more than attend Hogwarts as a kid (okay adult) was sample all the wizard treats! Another consumable gift win.
.
I always love a tree filled with meaningful ornaments! This calendar is such a cute way to create your own together with all the supplies you need! Each year you’ll be able to use them again and again on the tree and maybe even inspire more DIY ornament fun.
